Magnetone Techniques — Bringing the Technologies of the Past to Today’s Music.
We create tube-based analog audio equipment inspired by the legendary devices of the past.
Our journey began with the repair and restoration of vintage tube audio gear. Since then, we have never left this world behind — a world where sound is alive, breathing, and filled with a kind of magic that digital technology simply cannot reproduce.
In 2010, Magnetone Techniques was founded. From the very beginning, we were among the first companies in Russia to build reproductions of the classic Pultec equalizer. But for us, it has never been just about copying a schematic. Our goal is to recreate not only the electrical design, but also the very philosophy of equipment manufacturing that defined the golden era of the 1950s.
We carefully select every component, rely on time-tested solutions, and strive to follow original construction methods whenever possible. We believe that this attention to detail is what allows us to come closest to that legendary sound.
Our equipment is created for those who seek more than just tools for recording and mixing. It is made for people who appreciate the character, warmth, and unmistakable presence of genuine analog sound.
Classic tube design, rare vintage components, and meticulous hand assembly.
Our equipment is built for engineers, producers, and musicians who value the rich character of traditional analog sound. Every circuit is designed to capture the musicality, depth, and warmth that have made vintage studio gear a lasting source of inspiration for generations.

Every unit is built by hand, and for that reason our production remains limited.
We do not strive for mass production. Every unit goes through a complete process of hand assembly, testing, and calibration, which is why we produce only a small number of units each month. This approach allows us to maintain uncompromising quality and exceptional attention to detail.
A key part of our equipment's character comes from rare NOS (New Old Stock) components manufactured during the golden age of analog audio. Our supply of these parts is limited, and each component is carefully selected to preserve the unique sound, authenticity, and musicality that define our equipment.
